You will own the data layer powering computer vision models, ensuring high-quality datasets for ML teams. This involves building pipelines, internal tools, and managing the lifecycle of image and video data to improve recycling sorting technology.
What you'll do
- Manage image and video dataset lifecycle including taxonomy and curation
- Design and maintain data pipelines for moving, transforming, and versioning data
- Build internal tools to accelerate dataset creation and labeling workflows
- Coordinate with labeling teams to ensure consistent and error-free annotations
- Improve training data collection using model-assisted and active-learning methods
What you'll need
- At least 2 years of experience in Machine Learning
- 2+ years building software applications or internal tools with Python
- 2+ years working specifically with image or video datasets
- Hands-on experience designing ETL/ELT pipelines and data versioning
- Strong SQL skills and experience with structured data
- Fluent English proficiency for collaboration with US-based teams
Nice to have
- Background in Computer Vision or supporting CV/ML teams
- Web development experience with React, Django, or Nextjs
- Familiarity with annotation platforms like Supervisely or CVAT
- Experience with cloud storage S3 and backend services like FastAPI
- Prior experience working with US companies or clients
