You will lead all phases of major data center construction projects, acting as the primary liaison between TensorWave and external partners. Your focus includes managing general contractors, ensuring safety compliance, and maintaining strict financial control over the project budget.
This position requires deep expertise in mission-critical facilities and commissioning processes. You will coordinate daily operations, resolve field issues with engineering teams, and ensure all deliverables meet quality standards for operational handover.
What you'll do
- Serve as on-site owner’s representative from groundbreaking to final handover
- Manage general contractors and sub-trades to ensure schedule adherence
- Oversee project budget, tracking expenditures and change orders
- Lead daily meetings and coordinate RFI and submittal processes
- Resolve field-level issues in partnership with design teams
- Ensure compliance with safety plans and corporate quality standards
What you'll need
- B.S. in Construction Management, Engineering, or Architecture
- 10+ years managing complex, fast-track construction projects
- Minimum 5 years experience in data centers or mission-critical facilities
- Deep understanding of construction drawings and specifications
- Knowledge of commissioning processes Levels 1 through 5
- Willingness to travel extensively despite remote base
Nice to have
- PMP or similar professional certification
- Proficiency with Primavera P6 or MS Project
