Lead a small team in designing and maintaining advanced control systems for battery production and facility equipment. You will ensure technical integration and operational excellence while accelerating sustainable energy initiatives.
What you'll do
- Lead development of control systems for electrode coating and cell assembly
- Manage project schedules, resources, and budgets for timely delivery
- Coach junior engineers and conduct performance reviews
- Ensure systems meet precision, repeatability, and safety standards
- Collaborate with engineering teams to align with project goals
What you'll need
- Degree in Controls, Computer, or Electrical Engineering
- 5+ years in automation, controls, and industrial protocols
- At least 2 years of experience in a leadership role
- Proficiency in Structured Text programming for PLCs
- Experience with SCADA development using Ignition
- Knowledge of Beckhoff, Siemens, or Allen-Bradley systems
Nice to have
- Experience with winders, calendaring machines, or vision systems
- Background in HVAC automation for facilities
