Litmus builds the data foundation that powers industrial AI by making real-world operational data usable. As an Application Engineer, you will ensure successful configuration and deployment of Litmus products for customers across EMEA.
You will work on proof-of-concept projects and production implementations, validating requirements and delivering technical outcomes. This position bridges the gap between sales, product development, and customer success to drive value realization.
What you'll do
- Validate customer requirements for proof-of-concept and production implementations
- Configure Litmus products during pilots and production deployments
- Lead technical implementation activities to meet contracted responsibilities
- Develop solution approaches to help customers maximize product value
- Maintain internal solution libraries and technical documentation
- Provide Level 2 technical support including troubleshooting and root-cause analysis
- Support Sales Engineers with architecture reviews and RFI/RFP responses
- Provide field feedback to Product Management on bugs and enhancement opportunities
What you'll need
- Professional experience in manufacturing or industrial environments
- Hands-on experience implementing software or IIoT solutions in manufacturing
- Strong understanding of network protocols, system architecture, and Linux
- Experience with product configuration and customer-facing technical support
- Working knowledge of scripting with Python, JavaScript, or similar languages
- Understanding of containerized and cloud infrastructure like Docker or Kubernetes
- Excellent communication skills for working with customers and internal teams
- Fluency in both German and English is mandatory
Nice to have
- Experience with Litmus products, OPC/UA, or PLC/SCADA systems
- Exposure to pre-sales support and technical proposal reviews
- Experience supporting partners or leading customer webinars
- Ability to translate field observations into clear product feedback
- Experience with industrial protocols and OT/IT environments
