As a Customer Success Engineer at Deepgram, you will serve as the technical advisor and strategic owner for a portfolio of enterprise clients. You will drive adoption, solve complex technical problems, and identify expansion opportunities by combining deep technical expertise with commercial instinct.
The team operates at the intersection of customers, product, and growth. You are expected to use AI tools extensively to build systems that eliminate recurring work and compound the team's impact over time.
What you'll do
- Serve as technical advisor and strategic owner for enterprise accounts
- Manage full customer lifecycle from onboarding to expansion
- Drive adoption via demos, workshops, and architecture guidance
- Translate customer problems into requirements for product teams
- Identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities with Sales
- Build AI tools and workflows to automate recurring tasks
- Travel to customer sites when necessary
What you'll need
- 7+ years in technical customer-facing roles like TAM or SE
- Experience at API-driven, developer-first, or AI companies
- Track record blending solution design with commercial growth
- Hands-on experience leading demos and POCs for enterprises
- Fluency in discussing APIs, integrations, and developer workflows
- Ability to engage both developers and executive stakeholders
- Proven ability to build tools that eliminate manual work
- Strong communication skills across technical and business audiences
Nice to have
- Background in machine learning or voice AI
- Experience with cloud infrastructure or developer technologies
- Fluency in automation, scripting, or agent-building
- Knowledge of Python, TypeScript, or workflow tools
