Andela is evolving from a talent marketplace into an AI-integrated Talent Cloud. As a Data Analyst, you will treat data as a product, ensuring it is reliable and accessible for self-service analytics across the organization. You will partner with business functions to drive insights, design experiments, and enable data literacy.
What you'll do
- Embed in business functions to understand priorities and challenges
- Identify analytical opportunities and hunt for actionable insights
- Design and lead A/B tests, experiments, and pilots
- Build dashboards and reports for ongoing business monitoring
- Develop forecasting and predictive models for strategic planning
- Train partners on self-service analytics tools and metrics
- Create documentation to enable independent stakeholder analysis
What you'll need
- 4-7 years in business intelligence or data analytics
- Advanced SQL skills for complex independent analysis
- Proficiency with BI tools like Looker, Tableau, or Power BI
- Proficiency in R or Python for processing and modeling
- Deep understanding of statistical concepts and experimental design
- Ability to work cross-functionally and influence without authority
- Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field
Nice to have
- Experience with Looker semantic layer (LookerML)
- Advanced degree in a quantitative field
- Ability to structure unstructured problems
- Experience balancing rigor with pragmatic business judgment
