You will serve as the analytical partner to the Operations team, identifying bottlenecks in patient journeys and advocate workflows. Your work will transform complex data into actionable insights that shape scaling strategies and resource allocation.
The role requires building scalable analytics systems and maintaining clean data models. You will automate manual reporting and provide self-serve metrics for cross-functional teams including Product, Marketing, and Finance.
What you'll do
- Identify inefficiencies in patient intake, matching, and care workflows
- Model advocate utilization and supply-demand balance for staffing
- Build and maintain automated dashboards in Hex for self-serve access
- Partner with engineering to refine SQL and dbt data transformations
- Translate technical findings into clear recommendations for leadership
- Parse nested JSON and clean unstructured healthcare operational data
What you'll need
- 3+ years in data analytics with healthcare operations experience
- Understanding of care delivery, scheduling, caseloads, and SLAs
- Advanced SQL skills for complex queries in Snowflake
- Experience designing interactive dashboards in Hex or similar tools
- Ability to parse nested JSON and handle messy real-world data
- Proficiency using AI to accelerate analysis while verifying output
- Strong communication skills for non-technical stakeholders
- Comfort with ambiguity and a bias toward rapid action
Nice to have
- Experience with dbt and Git for version control
- Familiarity with claims, billing codes, or Medicare reimbursement
- Python or R skills for automation and statistical analysis
- Background in process optimization within operations settings
