Join the Finance Analytics team at 1Password to transform complex business data into clear insights for Finance, Sales, and Marketing. You will work on annual recurring revenue, retention, and subscription metrics, helping to create AI-enabled reporting workflows that speed up decision-making.
Reporting to the Senior Manager of Financial Data Analytics, you will support the company’s mission by ensuring data accuracy and reliability. The role involves partnering with various teams to improve data quality and automate manual tasks using modern AI tools.
What you'll do
- Build and iterate interactive dashboards in Hex for financial performance exploration
- Translate business questions into self-serve reporting for ARR and retention metrics
- Contribute to trusted data models supporting new pricing and product lines
- Support financial reporting cycles by investigating variances and identifying drivers
- Automate recurring manual tasks using AI skills and workflows
- Partner with Analytics Engineering to productionize reporting sources
- Present work to stakeholders and incorporate feedback from cross-functional teams
What you'll need
- Experience in analytics or data roles with strong SQL proficiency
- Ability to use joins, CTEs, window functions, and analyze large datasets
- Understanding of data modeling practices like star schemas and fact tables
- Skill in translating stakeholder questions into clear analytical deliverables
- Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Ready and willing to travel for in-person engagement like offsites
Nice to have
- Experience with Finance, Sales, or GTM data in a SaaS environment
- Familiarity with metrics such as ARR, retention, and customer cohorts
- Experience with BI or AI tools like Hex, Claude Code, or Cursor
- Exposure to dbt and enterprise data sources like Salesforce or Stripe
