Join the Payments team at OBRIO to establish a unified view of payment data for the Nebula spiritual wellness platform. You will define reconciliation logic, alert thresholds, and forecasting models that drive financial decisions across new and existing markets.
Working alongside payment managers and other analysts, you will control unit economics, reduce risk metrics like VAMP, and ensure revenue reports in Tableau match actual cash flow. This role requires building structure where none exists and proactively identifying discrepancies.
What you'll do
- Forecast risks for new locales lacking historical baseline data
- Define reconciliation logic, alert thresholds, and prioritization
- Analyze and systematically reduce VAMP and other risk metrics
- Monitor unit economics including refund rates and rev share
- Build payment zone alerting to detect issues before they cause harm
- Ensure Tableau revenue forecasts align with actual received funds
What you'll need
- 2+ years of analytics experience with payment economics knowledge
- Advanced SQL skills for complex queries and optimization
- Proficiency in Python and pandas for analysis and automation
- Ability to apply statistical methods to derive actionable insights
- Experience building practical BI dashboards used by stakeholders
- Proactive approach to building structure and prioritizing tasks
- Critical use of AI tools with verification of generated outputs
