Join the team behind Kraken to manage end-to-end data solutions for regulatory compliance. You will design dashboards, automate workflows, and ensure data accuracy for high-stakes regulatory reporting. The role requires bridging technical data engineering with deep knowledge of financial regulations like AML and MiCA.
What you'll do
- Design dashboards and regulatory reports for stakeholders and compliance officers
- Automate compliance data solutions to reduce manual intervention and errors
- Build scalable, audit-ready data models from complex datasets
- Translate regulatory requests into automated pipelines using Python and SQL
- Lead cross-functional projects to maintain high-quality data sources
- Monitor client data quality and coordinate remediation efforts
- Support ad-hoc data requests for audits and risk assessments
- Deliver data-driven insights to shape compliance strategy
What you'll need
- 5+ years in data analysis within financial services or regulated industries
- Experience with compliance frameworks such as AML, KYC, MiCA, or MiFID
- Expert SQL skills including complex joins, CTEs, and analytical functions
- Proficiency in Python libraries like pandas, matplotlib, and plotly
- Hands-on experience with dbt for data modeling and organization
- Strong understanding of data workflow orchestration and pipeline management
- Proficiency with BI tools such as QuickSight, Power BI, or Superset
- Ability to simplify complex data concepts for diverse audiences
Nice to have
- Degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Finance, or Information Systems
- Passion for continuous learning and problem-solving
- Solid understanding of cryptocurrency markets and financial systems
