Join SweedPos, a product-driven startup providing an all-in-one retail solution for the cannabis industry. You will ensure accurate data flow from various sources into analytics platforms, supporting critical business decisions and operational reporting.
What you'll do
- Design and maintain data pipelines using Airflow and Trino
- Ingest data from databases, APIs, and third-party integrations
- Implement monitoring and alerting for pipeline accuracy
- Deploy and maintain services in AWS cloud infrastructure
- Collaborate with analytics and engineering teams on data needs
- Optimize queries and storage for performance and cost efficiency
What you'll need
- At least 3 years of experience in data engineering
- Strong proficiency in SQL and Python programming
- Hands-on experience with Airflow for workflow management
- Experience with OLAP databases like ClickHouse or Trino
- Knowledge of distributed query engines and Spark
- Solid understanding of data modeling best practices
- Familiarity with event-based architectures and streaming
Nice to have
- Experience with Terraform and Terragrunt for IaC
- Knowledge of Helm, Kustomize, or ArgoCD for Kubernetes
- Background in building and owning cloud infrastructure
