This strategic position works with the field organization to ensure successful customer adoption of Snowflake’s Data Engineering and Data Lakehouse solutions. You will execute tailored sales plays, guide strategic discussions, and help customers optimize their use of the platform.
The role involves collaborating with Account Executives, Sales Engineers, and leadership to drive engagements from discovery through deployment. You will also provide insights to inform the product roadmap based on customer needs.
What you'll do
- Achieve pipeline generation and revenue targets for allocated accounts or territory
- Execute tailored sales plays to capture market opportunities in Data Engineering
- Work directly with customers to understand needs and inform product roadmap
- Provide executive-level insights to customers and partners on platform value
- Collaborate with internal teams to drive customer engagements from discovery to deployment
- Track and analyze sales performance metrics to optimize strategies
- Partner with cross-functional teams to integrate sales efforts with go-to-market plans
- Drive regional forecasts and exceed revenue targets on consumption
What you'll need
- At least 10 years of professional experience with 6+ years in technical sales
- Proven track record of exceeding revenue targets in competitive markets
- Experience managing complex sales processes with strong presentation skills
- Ability to independently manage, develop, and close new client relationships
- Strong communication skills for engaging senior executives and decision-makers
- In-depth knowledge of Data Engineering, Data Lakehouse, and Ingestion technologies
- Experience working across cross-functional teams including Sales Engineering and Product
Nice to have
- Experience in overlay sales roles or driving product consumption
- Technical background with understanding of the data space and market
