This position is designed for experienced data science executives who wish to transition their leadership expertise into professional coaching. You will partner with members to help them define goals, improve communication, and navigate workplace challenges using Mento’s proprietary methodology.
Before working with clients, you must complete an ICF-certified training program provided by the company. This role operates on a contract basis and requires a long-term commitment to building meaningful relationships with members across North America or Europe.
What you'll do
- Conduct 1:1 virtual coaching sessions with members using platform tools
- Communicate with members via email or chat between scheduled sessions
- Participate in ongoing training to refine coaching abilities and skills
- Share insights and tools to enhance community coaching practices
- Act as an empathetic ambassador for the Mento community
What you'll need
- Director or VP level with 20+ years in data science leadership
- Experience managing teams and coaching individuals in tech environments
- Ability to dedicate minimum 12 hours per month to coaching duties
- Commitment to work with Mento for at least 24 months
- High emotional intelligence and self-awareness
- Comfortable working in a constantly changing startup environment
- Based in North America or Europe
Nice to have
- Existing professional coaching certification

- Contract role paid per hour with performance bonuses
- Minimum 24-month engagement period
