What you'll do
- Design formal decision frameworks for complex enterprise problems
- Model uncertainty, tradeoffs, and multi-variable constraints
- Develop structured judgment methodologies for ambiguous signals
- Apply theoretical frameworks to real client use cases
- Test decision logic against live or simulated environments
- Design controlled experiments to validate reasoning enhancements
- Collaborate with Research Engineers to prototype concepts
- Provide formal specifications to Product and Engineering teams
What you'll need
- Strong grounding in decision theory or systems modeling
- Experience formalizing ambiguous problems into structured frameworks
- Comfort working with AI systems and reasoning architectures
- Ability to design and evaluate experiments rigorously
- Demonstrated intellectual independence and systems thinking
- Background in applied AI, economics, or operations research
