Join the team as a Senior Defender for Cloud Engineer, where you will design and operate internal identity and access management services. You will build production-quality software to automate security controls and embed secure-by-default patterns into engineering workflows.
What you'll do
- Design and operate internal IAM and cloud security services
- Write production-quality software using modern engineering practices
- Automate security controls to reduce technical debt
- Partner with teams to embed secure-by-default patterns
- Participate in on-call support and incident response
- Mentor engineers and advocate for security improvements
What you'll need
- Bachelor's in Computer Science or equivalent experience
- 2+ years commercial software development experience
- Proficiency in C#, Python, Java or similar languages
- Strong understanding of algorithms and data structures
- Experience with Azure, DevSecOps, and GitHub Actions
- Growth mindset and ability to take feedback
Nice to have
- Experience securing cloud-native SaaS applications
- Familiarity with vulnerability scanning and threat protection
- Azure Security Engineer Associate (AZ-500) certification
- Identity and Access Administrator Associate (SC-300)
- Understanding of Zero Trust security principles
- Knowledge of GDPR, HIPAA or other compliance frameworks
- Exposure to AWS or Google Cloud Platform
