Join Kraken's Generation Flex team to manage the end-to-end delivery of grid-scale batteries, wind, and solar assets. You will guide customers through technical analysis, site design, gateway installation, and commissioning, ensuring seamless integration with our energy management software.
Sitting at the intersection of customer needs, electrical engineering, and product capabilities, you will translate complex requirements into actionable plans. Your focus is on removing blockers, managing risks, and delivering a smooth onboarding experience for flexible generation assets across the European market.
What you'll do
- Own end-to-end onboarding of BESS, wind, and solar assets from discovery to live service
- Translate between customer goals, electrical engineering constraints, and SaaS product requirements
- Review technical documentation including single line diagrams, network maps, and Modbus registers
- Coordinate gateway delivery, installation prerequisites, and connectivity setup
- Manage commissioning activities such as operational acceptance and market testing
- Identify missing technical information early to prevent delivery blockers
- Feed recurring integration challenges back to Product and Engineering teams for improvement
- Serve as the primary delivery contact for customers during the onboarding phase
What you'll need
- Professional fluency in both German and English
- Strong technical background in electrical, control systems, or networking
- Understanding of industrial networking concepts like IP addressing, LANs, and VPNs
- Knowledge of electrical components such as inverters, transformers, and metering
- Experience delivering technical projects involving physical asset integration or commissioning
- Ability to coordinate multiple teams including customers, engineers, and third parties
- Highly organized approach to managing multiple sites at different onboarding stages
- Comfortable navigating agile environments with evolving processes and products
Nice to have
- Experience with APIs, data flows, or cloud software architecture
- Background in flexible generation, battery storage, or demand response
- Familiarity with industrial protocols like Modbus or OPC UA
- Experience commissioning generators, BESS, solar, or EV infrastructure
- Knowledge of grid-connected assets and energy market services
- Understanding of cold, energisation, and hot commissioning processes
- Experience with industrial gateways, edge devices, or IoT connectivity
