Join LangChain's Professional Services team to help enterprise customers move from prototypes to reliable production agents. You will translate vague workflows into concrete software specs, guide engineering teams, or build solutions directly alongside them.
The role spans advisory work, such as architecture design and evaluation strategy, to hands-on implementation across the full Agent Development Lifecycle. You will operate as a de facto member of client organizations to ship agent systems.
What you'll do
- Design agent architectures and review evaluation strategies
- Provide best-practice guidance for production deployments
- Co-build solutions with customer engineering teams
- Embed within client teams to ship agent systems directly
- Manage end-to-end Agent Development Lifecycle tasks
- Implement custom conversational UIs and orchestration patterns
- Conduct model selection and evaluation methodology
What you'll need
- 4+ years of software engineering experience
- Deep expertise in Python programming
- 2+ years building production agent systems
- Strong client-facing communication skills
- Experience with LangChain, LangGraph, or similar frameworks
- Knowledge of multi-agent patterns and state management
- Familiarity with evaluation methodologies for AI systems
- Willingness to travel up to 20% of the time
Nice to have
- Exposure to dataset curation and post-training techniques
- Experience with SFT, DPO, or RLHF on open-weight models
- Familiarity with Axolotl, Unsloth, or Hugging Face transformers
- Experience using trace mining for improvement loops
- Knowledge of TypeScript or JavaScript
