As the first Deployment Strategist, you will own the end-to-end deployment process for Realm's AI platform in mining operations. You will work directly with customers to define success metrics, manage weekly cadences, and ensure adoption of safety and productivity tools.
This hands-on role requires translating field observations into product requirements and building lightweight solutions using code or data analysis when necessary. You will collaborate with Forward Deployed Engineering and Product teams to shape the roadmap based on real-world usage.
What you'll do
- Spend approximately 25% of time onsite with customers across North America
- Shadow operators and site leaders to understand workflows and constraints
- Own deployment plans and set goals with customer leadership
- Run weekly check-ins with stakeholders to report progress and risks
- Build reports, dashboards, or tools using SQL, Python, or AI coding tools
- Translate field observations into clear product requirements for engineering
- Support sales visits and identify expansion opportunities in existing accounts
- Help build processes and playbooks to scale the deployment function
What you'll need
- 3–5 years in a customer-facing technical role owning outcomes
- Track record of leading complex deployments end to end
- Experience building processes or playbooks from scratch
- Comfortable running meetings with senior stakeholders
- Strong product judgment to distinguish wants from needs
- Hands-on skills to build working reports or tools quickly
- Clear communication skills for operators and executives
- Must be a US citizen or permanent resident
Nice to have
- Experience deploying technology in industrial or mining settings
- Familiarity with computer vision, AI/ML, or IoT products
- Understanding of safety, uptime, and compliance constraints like MSHA
- Experience mentoring, managing, or hiring team members
- Background in sensitive or mission-critical customer environments
