You will manage the physical deployment of Cerebras Wafer Scale Engine clusters, guiding teams from facility readiness to customer hand-off. This position requires leading rack integration, managing complex inter-rack cabling, and coordinating with facilities and networking groups to ensure safe, high-quality delivery.
The ideal candidate has extensive experience in hyperscale infrastructure and thrives in high-power, high-thermal-density environments. You will troubleshoot integration issues on the data center floor and direct technicians to resolve blockers during build phases.
What you'll do
- Lead end-to-end deployment of AI clusters including Wafer Scale Engines and switches
- Coordinate rack integration for high-density compute and power components
- Manage installation of high-speed fiber and copper interconnect cabling
- Ensure proper cabling routing, airflow clearance, labeling, and testing
- Collaborate with facilities teams on power capacity and cooling readiness
- Direct technicians on the data center floor to resolve build blockers
- Perform root-cause analysis for cabling and hardware integration issues
- Enforce safety procedures and handle heavy, high-power equipment securely
What you'll need
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, IT, or equivalent practical experience
- Over ten years of experience in data center deployments or infrastructure
- Hands-on experience deploying hyperscale AI, ML, or HPC infrastructure
- Strong background in structured cabling for high-density environments
- Familiarity with high-speed fabrics like InfiniBand or high-bandwidth Ethernet
- Experience using DCIM or deployment tracking systems
- Ability to manage complex cross-functional programs under tight timelines
- Willingness to travel and be physically present at data centers for weeks
