Join a growing industrial automation team as a Design Engineer. You will design custom machinery and automation equipment, handling projects from initial concept through manufacturing and final installation.
What you'll do
- Design custom machinery, automation equipment, and mechanical systems
- Create 3D models, assemblies, and detailed manufacturing drawings
- Develop mechanical layouts based on project requirements
- Select mechanical components and develop bills of materials
- Collaborate with engineering, controls, and manufacturing teams
- Review designs for functionality, manufacturability, and accuracy
- Support assembly, testing, troubleshooting, and installation
- Communicate with customers and vendors as needed
What you'll need
- Mechanical design or engineering experience
- Experience with custom machinery or automation equipment
- Proficiency with 3D CAD and design software
- Ability to create detailed mechanical drawings
- Understanding of fabrication and manufacturing processes
- Strong problem-solving and project management skills
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field preferred
