You will sit at the intersection of design and engineering, moving between Figma and code to ship polished UI for the Trust Wallet app. Working with both design and engineering teams, you will translate concepts into pixel-accurant, performant React Native components while evolving the design-to-development workflow.
What you'll do
- Build production-quality UI components in React Native from designs
- Prototype ideas with designers to test interactions before handoff
- Own and maintain the component library for consistency across the app
- Identify feasibility issues and propose technical solutions early
- Enhance UI performance, animations, and micro-interactions on all platforms
- Collaborate on architecture decisions affecting UI flexibility and theming
- Improve design-to-dev workflows including Figma handoffs and tokens
What you'll need
- 3-5+ years in frontend/UI engineering with strong React Native skills
- Strong eye for typography, spacing, motion, and interaction details
- Comfortable prototyping and iterating directly in Figma
- Experience building and maintaining design systems or component libraries
- Proven track record of shipping polished consumer-facing mobile products
- Strong communication skills to bridge design and engineering teams
Nice to have
- Experience with design tokens, theming, or cross-platform libraries
- Background as a designer who codes or an engineer with design sense
- Familiarity with animation libraries like Reanimated or Lottie
- Prior experience in fintech, crypto, or high-growth consumer apps
- Genuine interest in Web3 and crypto products
