Join Restream as a Design Engineer to craft intuitive and visually appealing user interfaces. You will take features from initial concept through design to final implementation, ensuring they are user-friendly and drive engagement.
Working within a small, high-impact team, you will collaborate with product and marketing stakeholders to define feature direction. This position requires a blend of design strategy and technical proficiency in modern web technologies.
What you'll do
- Craft product features from idea to design and implementation
- Design and implement UI/UX and business logic for new features
- Iterate on features to improve user engagement and conversion
- Collaborate with product, marketing, and support teams
- Participate in code reviews with the engineering team
- Monitor emerging technologies for potential opportunities
What you'll need
- Deep understanding of UX design process and strategy
- Strong attention to detail and focus on user experience
- Proficiency with Figma or similar prototyping tools
- Strong portfolio demonstrating previous design projects
- Knowledge of JavaScript, React, and state management
- Comfortable with TypeScript, MobX, and AWS
- Experience with continuous deployment workflows
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Self-directed and able to work well in a team
