Join Supabase as a Developer Relations Engineer to help developers discover and build with their Postgres development platform. You will bridge the gap between the product and the ecosystem by creating high-impact content, shipping real-world projects, and engaging with communities.
This position focuses on making complex tools accessible through video, code demos, and public speaking. You will collaborate with engineering and product teams to amplify launches and gather user feedback, acting as a trusted voice for the platform.
What you'll do
- Publish technical content, particularly video, to accelerate developer learning
- Build real-world applications and tutorials using Next.js, React, and Stripe
- Represent the company at meetups, livestreams, and industry events
- Engage with the community on Discord, Twitter, and YouTube to support users
- Collaborate with internal teams to prioritize content and improve user onboarding
What you'll need
- Strong engineering skills in JavaScript or TypeScript and modern frontend frameworks
- Proficiency with Postgres and database concepts
- Proven experience creating technical content in written or video formats
- Comfortable speaking publicly on camera, on stage, or online
- Ability to work self-directed in an asynchronous environment
Nice to have
- Existing audience on platforms like YouTube, Twitch, or Twitter
- Prior experience in Developer Relations or open source contributions
- Previous usage and enthusiasm for Supabase products
