Runpod is an AI Developer Cloud used by over a million developers for training and deploying models. As a Developer Relations Engineer, you will act as customer zero, building tools and validating workflows to improve the platform experience.
You will create technical content, deliver conference talks, and provide feedback to product teams. This role offers high autonomy to identify friction points and ship solutions that help developers succeed on Runpod.
What you'll do
- Build tooling, extensions, and plugins to improve developer experience
- Deliver talks at developer and AI conferences
- Use the platform as a user to identify pain points and bugs
- Design scalable programs for content, events, and community
- Engage with developers to surface insights to product teams
What you'll need
- Experience writing code in Python, JavaScript, or Go
- Background as a software engineer
- Ability to build and demo real things without a script
- Experience creating technical content like demos or tutorials
- Track record of building integrations or contributing to open source
- Comfortable working with high autonomy and shipping fixes
- Familiarity with GPU compute or AI engineering workflows
- Ability to attend events and conferences in person
- Successful completion of a background check
Nice to have
- Strong written voice for recaps and posts
- Ability to create videos with high technical depth
- Familiarity with AI libraries, agent frameworks, or ML infrastructure
