Join the Developer Success team at Prefect, where you will handle technical support for both Prefect and Dagster product lines. Your primary focus is resolving customer technical issues efficiently and preventing recurrence through improved documentation and tooling. You will work independently on daily queue items and manage moderate-complexity problems end-to-end.
What you'll do
- D diagnose and resolve technical issues in customer cloud and container environments
- Investigate root causes across Prefect and Dagster installations and integrations
- Create documentation and debugging resources to reduce future support volume
- Maintain clear communication with customers as the single point of contact
- File reproducible product issues and report recurring failure patterns to Engineering
What you'll need
- Fluency in Python with ability to read and debug existing codebases
- Experience troubleshooting deployments in major cloud providers and Kubernetes
- Familiarity with workflow orchestrators like Prefect, Dagster, or Airflow
- Proven track record in customer-facing technical roles such as support or solutions engineering
- Strong written communication skills for explaining technical root causes clearly
Nice to have
- Direct experience with Prefect or Dagster platforms
- History of contributions to open-source projects
- Familiarity with SQL and data warehouse technologies
- Experience building internal support tooling or automation scripts
