You will collaborate with engineering teams to enhance productivity by improving development tools and owning the CI/CD stack. This position requires balancing infrastructure reliability with direct involvement in feature development and tool creation.
The team focuses on keeping build processes performant, observable, and stable. You will research and implement solutions that help developers write code more efficiently while ensuring consistent infrastructure operations.
What you'll do
- Collaborate with engineers to improve development tools and team productivity
- Engage directly in feature development while maintaining product connection
- Own the CI/CD stack to ensure it is robust, observable, and performant
- Research and develop new tools to assist developers in writing code
- Ensure CI/CD infrastructure and processes remain reliable and consistent
What you'll need
- Solid background in Linux systems administration
- Experience developing and maintaining CI/CD stacks
- Proficiency in Ruby, Javascript, or Python
- Knowledge of AWS services including EC2, S3, IAM, and Route53
- Experience with telemetry and monitoring tools like Grafana or Kibana
- Familiarity with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes
Nice to have
- Experience optimizing CI build times with Jenkins, Rspec, or Cypress
- Familiarity with databases like MongoDB or ClickHouse
- Experience with build systems such as Webpack or Gradle
- Proficiency with CI tools like Jenkins or TeamCity
