Truelogic is hiring a DevOps and Security Engineer to support a major global news client. You will build the infrastructure foundation for new headless frontend and backend services, ensuring robust security and reliable delivery pipelines.
The role involves owning cloud infrastructure on Google Cloud and managing Cloudflare configurations. You will collaborate with Core Web and Platform teams to implement security best practices and maintain system reliability.
What you'll do
- Design and operate cloud infrastructure on Google Cloud for frontend and backend
- Manage Cloudflare services including CDN, WAF, DNS, and edge security
- Define security posture covering IAM, secrets, scanning, and alerting
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for web and platform teams
- Manage infrastructure as code using Terraform
- Support security for the new authentication service
- Establish monitoring and incident response practices
What you'll need
- Five or more years in DevOps, SRE, or cloud infrastructure with security focus
- Strong expertise in Google Cloud services like GKE, Cloud Run, and IAM
- Proficiency with Cloudflare for CDN, WAF, and DDoS protection
- Experience setting up least-privilege IAM and secrets management
- Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code using Terraform
- Knowledge of CI/CD tools such as GitHub Actions or Cloud Build
- Familiarity with containers and Kubernetes
- Fluent English communication skills
- Must be currently based in Latin America
