Truelogic is hiring a DevOps and Security Engineer to support a major global news client. You will build the infrastructure foundation for new backend services and a headless front end, working across Core Web and Platform teams.
The role focuses on securing cloud environments, managing delivery pipelines, and ensuring robust monitoring. You will collaborate with U.S.-based teams while operating from Latin America.
What you'll do
- Design and operate Google Cloud infrastructure for front-end and backend services
- Manage Cloudflare configurations including CDN, WAF, DNS, and edge security
- Implement security measures such as IAM, secrets management, and vulnerability scanning
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for web and platform teams
- Manage infrastructure as code using Terraform
- Support security for authentication services and set up incident response practices
What you'll need
- At least five years of experience in DevOps, SRE, or cloud infrastructure with security focus
- Strong proficiency in Google Cloud services like GKE, Cloud Run, and Secret Manager
- Hands-on experience with Cloudflare for DDoS protection, bot management, and caching
- Proven ability to set up least-privilege IAM and logging alerting systems
- Expertise in Infrastructure as Code using Terraform
- Experience building CI/CD pipelines with GitHub Actions or Cloud Build
- Knowledge of containers and Kubernetes orchestration
- Fluent English communication skills
- Must currently reside in Latin America
