As the first leader solely accountable for the data function, you will oversee the warehouse, pipelines, and reporting that support finance and client-facing products. You will own the data platform, single client record, and governed metrics while leading a team of senior engineers and an analyst.
What you'll do
- Own the end-to-end data platform including warehouse, ingestion, and observability
- Build governed data systems for production ML and LLM products
- Establish one authoritative client record with identity resolution
- Create a governed metrics layer and data quality program for leadership
- Enforce privacy and access controls in collaboration with Security and Legal
- Lead the data team through roadmap planning and technical mentorship
What you'll need
- 8+ years in data engineering or platform roles with leadership experience
- Hands-on experience building modern cloud data stacks and advanced SQL skills
- Experience owning data systems for production ML or LLM products
- Background in building customer master or identity resolution models
- Experience delivering governed business metrics for executives and Finance
- Knowledge of data governance, privacy controls, CCPA, and CPRA regulations
