Lead Moxie's largest organization as the day-to-day head of engineering. You will manage seven engineering managers, oversee delivery for 60 engineers, and drive the company's AI strategy across products and development processes.
This position requires deep technical involvement alongside organizational leadership. You will refine performance metrics, improve reliability, and embed AI-assisted development while balancing feature delivery with platform investment.
What you'll do
- Manage seven engineering managers and oversee daily operations
- Own end-to-end delivery and resolve cross-team execution issues
- Refine engineering performance metrics like DORA and cycle time
- Drive AI initiatives into production with clear security standards
- Set technical roadmap balancing product and platform needs
- Partner with product leadership on risks and tradeoffs
What you'll need
- 12+ years in software engineering with 5+ in leadership
- 3+ years experience leading managers and technical leaders
- Managed 30-60 person organizations at Series B-D companies
- Built KPI systems that drive measurable behavioral changes
- Shipped production AI systems with observability and security
- Strong judgment in system design and architecture reviews
- Experience with agile, scrum, SRE, and devops principles
