Lead the internal IT function at Horizon3, a cybersecurity company focused on autonomous pentesting. You will define the multi-year IT roadmap and manage teams responsible for end-user support, corporate systems, and infrastructure.
This position ensures secure and reliable technology experiences for employees while partnering with Security and Engineering. You will oversee vendor relationships, budgets, and service delivery for a distributed, remote-first organization.
What you'll do
- Define and drive multi-year IT strategy aligned with company goals
- Oversee Help Desk, IT Engineering, and Business applications teams
- Ensure reliable endpoint, identity, and collaboration experiences
- Partner with Security to design secure-by-default IT environments
- Manage IT budgets, vendor relationships, and contracts
- Track KPIs such as ticket resolution times and device compliance
- Support technology onboarding and offboarding for remote staff
- Serve as escalation point for complex IT incidents
What you'll need
- 10+ years in IT with 5+ years in people leadership roles
- Experience managing managers and distributed teams
- Background in SaaS, security, or regulated environments
- Knowledge of endpoint management for macOS and Windows
- Expertise in identity and access management tools like Okta
- Familiarity with collaboration suites like Google Workspace
- Experience with ITSM tooling such as Jira Service Management
- Strong vendor management and negotiation skills
Nice to have
- Experience in high-growth startup or scale-up environments
- Background in cybersecurity or IT security engineering
- Exposure to frameworks like SOC 2, ISO 27001, or FedRAMP
- Prior leadership of IT in a remote-first organization
