Lead the Site Reliability Engineering function at Blackpoint Cyber, ensuring the availability and efficiency of mission-critical cybersecurity platforms. You will manage a global team while driving automation, observability, and cloud cost strategies across AWS and Azure environments.
What you'll do
- Lead design and management of scalable cloud infrastructure on AWS and Azure
- Establish SRE best practices for monitoring, incident response, and capacity planning
- Drive automation initiatives using Infrastructure-as-Code and CI/CD pipelines
- Manage and mentor a global team of SREs and DevOps engineers
- Optimize cloud spending and resource utilization without compromising reliability
- Collaborate with security teams to ensure compliance and disaster recovery readiness
- Contribute hands-on to infrastructure design and automated attack deployment
- Integrate AI tooling to improve system stability and operational velocity
What you'll need
- Ten or more years of experience in SRE, DevOps, or Cloud Infrastructure
- Five or more years of people management experience leading SRE teams
- Strong expertise in AWS, Azure, or GCP with a focus on cost management
- Proficiency in Infrastructure-as-Code tools like Terraform or Pulumi
- Hands-on experience with Kubernetes, container orchestration, and CI/CD
- Expertise in observability tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, or Datadog
- Proven track record of optimizing cloud costs while maintaining performance
- Understanding of modern AI tooling applications in SRE contexts
Nice to have
- Experience in cybersecurity or high-security operational environments
- Knowledge of compliance frameworks like SOC2, ISO 27001, or FedRAMP
- Familiarity with serverless architectures and edge computing technologies
- Previous collaboration with FinOps teams for cloud cost management
