You will define category focus, manage supplier negotiations, and optimize product listings to drive profitability. The role involves building operational plans for inventory and fulfillment while establishing repeatable processes for future team scaling.
What you'll do
- Define product roadmap, category focus, and launch sequencing
- Source products through supplier discovery and negotiation
- Model landed costs and set margin targets for profitability
- Optimize listings via keyword strategy and conversion improvements
- Build operational plans for inventory management and fulfillment
- Brief creative teams on images, packaging, and brand assets
- Drive performance metrics including contribution margin and ad efficiency
- Establish scalable processes and prepare to support a small team
What you'll need
- 4+ years of experience in product selection, sourcing, and scaling
- Strong judgment in managing suppliers and planning inventory
- Ability to negotiate pricing and terms with vendors confidently
- Comfortable working as a single-threaded owner with minimal direction
- Prior remote work experience with fluency in collaboration tools
- Experience working with US or UK-based companies is required
Nice to have
- Category depth in Home & Garden, Tools, or Electronics
- Experience with store relaunches and SKU pipeline creation
- Background in Amazon Ads management or ad execution direction
- Prior team leadership or mentorship experience
