You will work as an embedded software engineer within client development teams, leveraging modern AI tooling to accelerate delivery and build practical solutions. The role focuses on combining strong engineering fundamentals with AI-native practices to improve efficiency and outcomes.
While you collaborate daily with client engineers, SPACE44 manages the commercial relationship. You will contribute to the evolution of the PIPE44 platform by sharing successful patterns from real-world engagements.
What you'll do
- Join client engineering teams as an embedded software engineer
- Deliver production-quality code alongside client developers
- Use AI tools to accelerate software delivery and maintain quality
- Build and customize AI agents to improve engineering workflows
- Identify opportunities to automate repetitive engineering tasks
- Share successful patterns to help evolve the PIPE44 platform
- Collaborate with AI Solutions Architects on technical delivery
What you'll need
- 8+ years building production backend, fullstack, or platform software
- Strong backend experience in modern programming languages
- Experience designing web applications, APIs, and distributed systems
- Solid understanding of software architecture and best practices
- Proficiency with Git version control
- Experience using AI-assisted development tools in daily workflow
- Knowledge of LLMs, RAG, AI agents, and agentic approaches
- Ability to learn new languages and stacks quickly
- Track record of reliable delivery in remote teams
- Business-fluent English written and verbal
