Join the Infrastructure Specifications team to ensure engineering integrity and protect public funds through rigorous contract documentation. You will author, review, and assemble specification books for major roadway, sewer, and water main projects across the five boroughs.
Working with the Deputy Director, you will bridge design engineering and public procurement. Your work includes evaluating consultant task orders, drafting pre-bid addenda, and ensuring strict adherence to city and federal standards.
What you'll do
- Author and compile contract specification books for capital infrastructure projects
- Prepare Task Orders and estimate fees for design tasks using city guidelines
- Negotiate fees with consulting firms to align scopes with budgets
