As an Engineering Coach, you will partner with members to define goals, improve communication, and navigate workplace issues. You will use the Mento Platform to deliver virtual sessions and support members between meetings.
You must complete Mento’s ICF-certified training program before working with clients. This role suits directors or VPs who want to apply their leadership experience to help others grow.
What you'll do
- Provide 1:1 coaching via virtual sessions on the Mento Platform
- Communicate with members through email or chat between sessions
- Participate in ongoing training to refine coaching skills
- Share insights and tools with the broader coaching community
- Act as an empathetic ambassador for the Mento community
What you'll need
- Director, VP, or senior engineering leader with 15+ years experience
- Proven track record managing teams and coaching individuals
- Experience leading through hypergrowth or organizational change
- Ability to influence stakeholders across product and executive levels
- Commitment to minimum 12 hours per month for 24+ months
- Based in North America or Europe
Nice to have
- Background in AI/ML, infrastructure, security, or platform engineering
- Prior experience at technology companies
- Existing coaching certifications
How you'll work

- Minimum commitment of 3-5 hours per week
- Contract duration of at least 24 months
