As an Engineering Lead at BJAK, you will own the technical execution for major systems and products. You will balance hands-on coding with architectural decisions, ensuring scalability and reliability while mentoring other engineers.
The position requires strong English communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively across time zones in a fast-moving international environment.
What you'll do
- Own technical design and execution for major products and initiatives
- Design scalable backend, frontend, API, and infrastructure systems
- Write code, review peers, and debug production issues
- Make architecture trade-offs regarding speed, cost, and reliability
- Translate ambiguous product problems into clear technical plans
- Mentor engineers and lead critical technical projects
What you'll need
- At least 7 years of software engineering experience
- Deep expertise in backend, frontend, or distributed systems
- Strong system design skills for high-scale environments
- Proven ability to remain hands-on with coding
- Track record of leading projects from design to production
- Strong English communication skills
