As an Engineering Lead at BJAK, you will own the technical execution for major products and systems. You will design scalable architectures, write code, and guide engineering initiatives from concept to production while raising the overall technical bar.
What you'll do
- Own technical design and execution for major products and systems
- Design scalable backend, frontend, API, and infrastructure solutions
- Write code, review peers, and solve production issues directly
- Make architecture trade-offs balancing speed, cost, and reliability
- Translate ambiguous product needs into clear technical plans
- Mentor engineers and lead critical technical initiatives
What you'll need
- At least 7 years of software engineering experience
- Deep expertise in distributed systems, APIs, or cloud infrastructure
- Strong skills in system design for high-scale environments
- Proven ability to remain hands-on with coding tasks
- Track record of leading projects from design to production
- Strong English communication skills for global collaboration

- Experience scaling teams or systems during significant growth
- Background working across multiple markets or countries
