As an Engineering Lead at BJAK, you will own the technical execution for major products and systems. You will balance hands-on coding with architectural decisions, ensuring scalability and reliability while mentoring engineers across the organization.
What you'll do
- Own technical design and execution for major products and initiatives
- Design scalable backend, frontend, API, and infrastructure systems
- Write code, review peers, and solve production problems directly
- Make architecture trade-offs regarding speed, cost, and reliability
- Translate ambiguous product needs into clear technical plans
- Mentor engineers and raise overall engineering quality standards
What you'll need
- At least 7 years of software engineering experience
- Deep expertise in backend, frontend, or distributed systems
- Strong skills in system design for high-scale environments
- Proven ability to remain hands-on with coding tasks
- Track record of leading projects from design to production
- Strong English communication skills for global collaboration
