Doit is building AI-driven tools to help users manage spending, saving, and investing across Southeast Asia. As an Engineering Lead, you will own the technical execution for major products, designing scalable systems while remaining hands-on with code.
You will collaborate with a global, distributed team to solve ambiguous product problems and raise engineering standards through better design, testing, and security practices.
What you'll do
- Own technical design and execution for major products and systems
- Design scalable backend, frontend, API, and infrastructure solutions
- Write code, review peers, and debug production issues directly
- Make architecture trade-offs balancing speed, cost, and reliability
- Translate ambiguous product needs into clear technical plans
- Mentor engineers and lead critical technical initiatives
What you'll need
- 7+ years of software engineering experience with production systems
- Deep expertise in backend, frontend, or distributed systems
- Strong system design skills for high-scale applications
- Proven ability to remain hands-on with coding tasks
- Track record of leading projects from design to production
- Strong English communication skills for global collaboration
