The Engineering Lead owns technical execution for major products, balancing system design with hands-on coding. You will guide architecture decisions and raise engineering standards across a distributed global team.
What you'll do
- Own technical design and execution for major products and systems
- Design scalable backend, frontend, API, and infrastructure solutions
- Contribute code, perform reviews, and solve production issues
- Drive architecture trade-offs regarding speed, cost, and reliability
- Translate ambiguous product needs into clear technical plans
- Mentor engineers and lead critical technical initiatives
What you'll need
- 7+ years of software engineering experience with production systems
- Deep expertise in backend, frontend, or distributed systems
- Strong skills in system design and architecture for high scale
- Proven ability to remain hands-on with coding tasks
- Track record of leading projects from design to production
- Ability to make sound technical trade-offs and influence teams
Nice to have
- Experience scaling engineering teams during significant growth
- Background operating across multiple products or countries
