The Engineering Lead owns the technical execution for major systems, balancing architecture decisions with hands-on development. You will drive projects from concept to production while raising engineering standards across the distributed team.
What you'll do
- Own technical design and execution for major products and engineering initiatives
- Design scalable backend, frontend, API, database, and infrastructure systems
- Contribute code, prototypes, reviews, and debugging alongside the team
- Drive architecture decisions balancing speed, scalability, and cost
- Translate ambiguous product problems into clear technical solutions
- Improve system design, testing, security, and observability practices
- Lead critical technical initiatives and mentor engineers across teams
What you'll need
- 7+ years of software engineering experience shipping production systems
- Deep expertise in backend, frontend, distributed systems, or cloud infrastructure
- Strong system design and architecture skills for high-scale systems
- Strong coding ability with a willingness to remain hands-on
- Track record of leading major engineering projects from design to production
- Ability to make sound technical trade-offs and solve complex production issues
- Strong English communication skills for global collaboration

- Experience scaling engineering teams or systems during significant growth
- Experience operating across multiple products, markets, or countries
