You will own the backbone of Chariot's operations, transforming scripts and manual steps into a robust claims pipeline. This system handles eligibility, verification, and handoffs to partner law firms, ensuring confidence in outcomes for claimants and internal teams. You will also build the connecting systems, including dashboards and case management tools.
The ideal candidate is analytical and execution-driven, capable of taking ideas from prototype to production. You will lead recruitment and team growth while contributing to shared platform foundations like internal tooling and agent harnesses. Experience in regulated industries such as legal, healthcare, or finance is a plus.
What you'll do
- Develop real-time claims processing from prototype to production
- Implement fraud detection and claim quality capabilities
- Build systems connecting claimants with partner law firms
- Create claimant-facing dashboards and case handoff tools
- Ensure pipeline reliability and observability as primary goals
- Contribute to shared platform foundations and internal tooling
- Recruit, vet, and grow the engineering team
What you'll need
- Staff-level technical scope experience in shipping production software
- Track record of owning end-to-end product outcomes
- Strong product instincts and ability to make autonomous decisions
- Experience in early-stage startups (Series A or earlier)
- Ready to hire and lead engineers from day one
- Proficiency with Go and AWS
Nice to have
- Background in regulated industries like legal, healthcare, or finance
- Experience with real-time or event-driven pipelines
- Knowledge of workflow orchestration and third-party API integration
- Experience building CRM or operational tooling
- Familiarity with analytics instrumentation
