You will lead a high-performing engineering team responsible for building and scaling products that serve millions of users. This position requires balancing technical depth with people leadership, ensuring rapid delivery without compromising system reliability or code quality.
The role demands close collaboration with product, design, and other engineering teams to translate ambiguous problems into clear technical execution. You will set engineering standards and drive the team toward measurable business outcomes while fostering a culture of ownership and continuous improvement.
What you'll do
- Lead and manage engineers across frontend, backend, and full stack disciplines
- Own engineering delivery for major product areas with a focus on speed and reliability
- Drive technical architecture decisions for APIs, databases, and infrastructure
- Set standards for code quality, testing, observability, and security
- Coach engineers through feedback, performance management, and clear expectations
- Improve engineering processes, tooling, and automation for scale
- Monitor production systems and resolve incidents to prevent recurrence
What you'll need
- Strong software engineering background with experience shipping production systems
- Proven experience leading or managing software engineers and owning delivery
- Technical depth in backend, frontend, APIs, databases, or cloud infrastructure
- Ability to make sound architectural trade-offs balancing speed and scalability
- Track record of taking products from idea through development to launch
- Strong people leadership skills for coaching and building high-performing teams
- Strong English communication skills for global collaboration
