You will manage a high-performing engineering team responsible for scaling products used by millions across the region. This position requires balancing technical depth with people leadership to ensure rapid, reliable delivery of customer-facing systems.
The role demands close collaboration with product, design, and AI teams to translate ambiguous problems into clear technical execution. You will set engineering standards while fostering a culture of ownership and continuous improvement.
What you'll do
- Lead engineers across frontend, backend, and full stack development
- Ensure rapid shipping without compromising reliability or quality
- Drive technical architecture decisions for APIs and infrastructure
- Set standards for code quality, testing, and security
- Conduct architecture reviews and debug critical issues
- Coach engineers through feedback and performance management
- Improve tooling and automation to increase team velocity
- Monitor production systems and resolve incidents permanently
What you'll need
- Strong background in building and shipping production systems
- Experience managing software engineers and owning delivery
- Technical depth in backend, frontend, or cloud infrastructure
- Ability to balance speed, scalability, and maintainability
- Track record of taking products from idea to production
- Strong people leadership and coaching abilities
- Product sense connecting engineering to business outcomes
- Comfortable working with ambiguity and setting priorities
- Strong English communication skills
