You will lead a high-performing engineering team responsible for building and scaling products that help users plan, save, and grow their money. This position requires balancing technical excellence with rapid delivery, ensuring the team ships reliable software while meeting business outcomes.
As a hands-on leader, you will guide engineers across frontend, backend, and full-stack development. You will collaborate with product, design, and AI teams to translate ambiguous problems into clear technical execution, maintaining high standards for code quality and system reliability.
What you'll do
- Lead and manage engineers across frontend, backend, and full-stack disciplines
- Own engineering delivery for major product areas without compromising quality
- Drive technical architecture decisions for APIs, databases, and infrastructure
- Set standards for code quality, testing, observability, and security
- Conduct architecture reviews, code reviews, and debug critical issues
- Coach engineers through feedback, performance management, and clear expectations
- Improve engineering processes, tooling, and automation for scale
- Monitor production systems and resolve incidents to prevent recurrence
What you'll need
- Strong software engineering background with production system experience
- Proven experience leading or managing software engineering teams
- Technical depth in backend, frontend, APIs, or cloud infrastructure
- Ability to make sound architectural trade-offs for speed and scalability
- Track record of taking products from idea through launch to production
- Strong people leadership skills for coaching and performance management
- Product sense to connect engineering decisions to business outcomes
- Comfortable working with ambiguity and driving teams to clear outcomes
- Strong English communication skills for global collaboration
