Cosuno seeks an Engineering Manager who leads by example, spending the majority of their time coding, reviewing, and shaping architecture alongside the team. You will guide full stack and AI/ML engineers while actively contributing to the product roadmap and technical quality.
The role involves coaching staff, managing hiring, and partnering with product managers to execute delivery plans. You will drive the adoption of AI-assisted workflows and maintain high technical standards through rigorous code reviews and architectural guidance.
What you'll do
- Lead and coach a team of full stack and AI/ML engineers
- Conduct regular 1:1s, create growth plans, and handle hiring
- Ship product code weekly while managing team delivery
- Collaborate with Product Managers to plan and de-risk roadmaps
- Review pull requests and provide architectural guidance
- Drive adoption of AI-assisted engineering workflows
- Partner with leadership on team topology and processes
What you'll need
- 7+ years of software engineering experience
- Proven track record delivering scalable web applications
- Strong expertise in TypeScript, Node.js, and React
- Experience leading teams or mentoring senior engineers
- Desire to remain 60-80% hands-on with code
- Passion for growing people and giving honest feedback
- Excellent English communication skills
