You will balance technical depth with people leadership, driving product delivery from concept to production while maintaining high engineering standards.
This position requires a hands-on leader who can navigate ambiguity, make sound architectural trade-offs, and foster a culture of ownership and speed within a global, remote environment.
What you'll do
- Lead engineers across frontend, backend, and full stack disciplines
- Ensure rapid delivery without compromising reliability or quality
- Collaborate with product and AI teams to define technical execution
- Drive architecture decisions for APIs, databases, and infrastructure
- Set standards for code quality, testing, and observability
- Conduct architecture reviews and debug critical production issues
- Coach engineers through feedback and performance management
- Improve tooling and automation to increase team velocity
- Monitor production systems and resolve incidents permanently
What you'll need
- Strong background in building and shipping production systems
- Experience managing software engineers and owning delivery
- Technical depth in backend, frontend, or cloud infrastructure
- Ability to balance speed, scalability, and maintainability
- Track record of taking products from idea to launch
- Comfortable challenging engineering decisions and debugging
