What you'll do
- Lead and manage engineers across frontend, backend, and full stack development.
- Own engineering delivery ensuring speed without compromising reliability.
- Drive technical architecture decisions for APIs, databases, and infrastructure.
- Set engineering standards for code quality, testing, and security.
- Conduct architecture reviews, code reviews, and debug critical issues.
- Coach engineers through feedback, performance management, and clear expectations.
- Improve engineering processes, tooling, and automation for scale.
- Monitor production systems and resolve incidents to prevent recurrence.
What you'll need
- Strong software engineering background with production system experience.
- Experience leading or managing software engineers and owning delivery.
- Technical depth in backend, frontend, APIs, or cloud infrastructure.
- Ability to make sound architectural trade-offs balancing speed and scale.
- Track record of taking products from idea through launch to production.
- Comfortable reviewing designs and debugging complex production issues.
- Strong people leadership skills for coaching and building teams.
- Product sense to connect engineering decisions to business outcomes.
- Ability to work fast with ambiguity and establish clear priorities.
- Strong ownership mentality for resolving delivery or technical slips.
