As an Engineering Manager, you will lead a high-performing team responsible for scaling products used by millions of users across the region. You will bridge the gap between people, product, and technology to ensure rapid, reliable shipping of customer-facing systems.
What you'll do
- Lead and manage a team of frontend, backend, and full-stack engineers
- Own engineering delivery for major product areas ensuring speed and reliability
- Collaborate with product, design, mobile, and AI teams on technical execution
- Drive technical architecture decisions for APIs, databases, and infrastructure
- Set engineering standards for code quality, testing, security, and observability
- Conduct architecture reviews, code reviews, and debug critical issues
- Coach engineers through feedback, performance management, and clear expectations
- Improve engineering processes, tooling, and automation for scale
- Monitor production systems and resolve incidents to prevent recurrence
What you'll need
- Strong software engineering background with production system experience
- Proven experience leading or managing software engineers
- Technical depth in backend, frontend, APIs, databases, or cloud infrastructure
- Ability to make sound architectural trade-offs balancing speed and scalability
- Track record of taking products from idea through launch to production
- Comfortable reviewing technical designs and debugging complex issues
- Strong people leadership skills for coaching and building high-performing teams
- Product sense to connect engineering decisions to business outcomes
- Ability to work fast with ambiguity and establish clear priorities
- Strong ownership mentality for resolving delivery slips or breaks
- Strong English communication skills for global collaboration
